  • Are you still open
    • Yes, we are still open and working hard to ship all orders as received via the website.
  • Can I get the delivery date I want.
    • At present we have had to limit the number of shipments we can make every day.  Once this limit is reached and the delivery slots for that particular date are full, it is no longer available to choose as an option. At this time there is no waiting list and in general you can select any delivery day to suit.
  • Will my order definitely arrive on the date selected?
    • We are currently working very hard to ship all orders in time for delivery on the requested date, our couriers are managing the shipment side and everything seems under control all things considered. 
    • Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee that delivery will be made on the requested day, this can be down to a number of issues affecting courier depots both locally and across the country resulting from weather, traffic, and particularly at this time staffing.
    • Please bare with us, as we try to keep the orders under control and prevent another backlog from building up. We do ask for your patience and understanding in these exceptional times.
    • As the couriers work to manage their deliveries you might see some monday deliveries arrive over the weekend. Some depots are making additional deliveries saturday and sunday. Please be reassured that these brownies are still going to be in prerfect condition for monday & tuesday if you have something special planned for those days.
  • Can I change my order details?
    • We are trying to respond to all emails & calls, but please note that delivery details can be changed directly with the courier once the shipment has left Gower Cottage.
  • What Flavours are available?
    • In order to try and maximise the number of boxes we can ship out daily, we have restricted the available flavours to Original or Orance, and the Gluten Free Original and Gluten Free Orange.
  • When is the last shipping date before Christmas (2020)?
    • We will  be accepting the last orders for Christmas at 10am on Friday 18th December, for delivery on Monday 21st December.
    • Please note this date my change following the exceptional demand during this period in 2020 - so please order in plenty of time.
  • When is the first shipment of 2020?
    • We will be closed over the Christmas period, and the first shipment of 2020 will go out on Monday 4th January for delivery Tuesday 5th.
  • How much does it cost for delivery?
    • All Prices shown on the site include free delivery.
  • What is the shelf life of the brownies?
    • When we ship your brownies we put a best before date of 7-10 days from the shipping date.
  • Can the brownies be frozen?
    • Yes, brownies are great for freezing.
  • i) If for yourself we suggest removing the packaging and wrapping them individually so that you can take as few or as many from the freezer as you need.
  • ii) If you want to freeze them and give as a gift at some time in the future, we would suggest removing the brownies in their tied greaseproof pack, from the box and tissue paper, and freezing them as a block. This way you can reserve the box & tissue to repack when you're ready to give your present.
  • Are the brownies suitable for vegetarians?
    • Yes, the brownies are suitable for vegetarians
  • Do the brownies contain nuts?
    • See ingredients above. Our plain / gluten free brownies do not contain nuts in the recipe, however they are produced in a kitchen that contains nuts.

  • How are the brownies delivered?
    • We normally use a next working day delivery service with a nationwide courier company who are aware that these are perishable goods and will make every effort to ensure that your brownies are delivered on time. If you can provide contact information for the recipient, then in case of any problems the driver will try to make contact to ensure delivery.  However for Scottish Highlands & Islands and Northern Ireland we ship First Class Royal Mail, and this can take an extra day or two due to the nature of delivery area. Please be aware that whilst the courier company will make every effort to deliver next working day, unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed.

  • What time will the brownies be delivered?
    • The courier service is a next day delivery and can be anytime between 09.00 and 18.00, however the couriers will notify you in advance of your pending shipment, and normally will provide a 2 hour timeslot for when you can expect delivery.

  • Preferred Delivery Date?
    • When you place your order you can specify you preferred delivery date. More than 95% of our gift boxes are delivered on time, however if your brownies are absolutely time critical, for instance for a wedding, then we would suggest that you have you brownies delivered a day earlier just to be certain. They will still be fresh for your big day.

  • Will the brownies need to be signed for?
    • No, the delivery driver will not need to get a signature, but the more information you can give us the better. Can they be left safe, do you have a mobile phone number for the recipient?

  • Where do we deliver?
    • We offer a UK and Northern Ireland delivery service, the majority of which is next day. However for Scottish Highlands & Islands and Northern Ireland these can take up to an extra 2 days to arrive. However, you can be confident that they still arrive in perfect condition for your recipient.

  • Do we deliver internationally?
    • Unfortunately not since we cannot control delivery times etc, we are unable to guarantee how the brownies might arrive and therefore do not offer this service.
  • When should I order my brownies?
    • You can order your brownies for next working day delivery up to 10.00am. Alternately you can place your order in advance and specify your preferred delivery date during the checkout process, and we will do all the rest of the work for you.
  • Can you add a message to my brownies gift?
    • Yes, during the checkout process you are able to add a personalised message. Please don't forget to say who they're from or they won't know.
  • How long does it take to deliver my brownies?
    • We ship your brownies with a nationwide courier on a next day service.
